Son Rise Acres
Very small farm-let. We raise laying hens for eggs – mostly White Rocks, New Hampshire Reds, and Black Sex-Links. They lay large brown eggs. We have a few Auracanas that lay green eggs, so sometimes there’s a surprise green egg in your carton. Eggs are offered in all-large or mixed-medium-size eggs. Fresh. We do not feed hormones or antibiotics. The hens have daily access to an outdoor pen and receive a mixture of laying pellets, freshly-cut grass (no fertilizer or pesticide), vegetables and kitchen leftovers, and raw goats milk.
